Triumph's take on a Scrambler is one well received by many including me!
I absolutely love their modern classic range and the Bonneville line-up.
I've never had the pleasure of riding their Scrambler but thanks to Bolton Motorcycles and their extensive stock I was now able to.

Initially I was a bit worried about how this bike would handle on the road, because of its 19-inch front wheel. But believe me it rides just fine. Even though the Scrambler was first thought as an off-road bike, it's really just an urban scrambler. It has a comfortable upright trail bike stance, quality suspensions and brakes.

In fact the KYB 41mm front forks are not adjustable but set just right for everyday riding. While at the rear there's twin KYB shocks with adjustable preload.
The riding quality overall is very neutral and balanced but also with enough firmness at the rear that makes it quite fun in the twisties.
Even though the tall front wheel doesn't inspire much confidence compared to the 17-inch wheel found on the Street Twin, there's still a certain level of security given from the front-end when dipped down bends.
Not only that but the stock Brembo caliper brakes are very good too. Even though there's a single disc set-up front and back I found the stopping power more than decent enough for this kind of bike.
Switchable ABS and traction control will also turn the Street Scrambler into a fun and naughty off-road machine!
I love that Triumph has included enough tech as standard, even though it's a middleweight bike.

The engine is now the high torque 900cc liquid cooled unit, shared with the classic line-up and it makes 64 hp. It has such a torquey feeling and composure, I absolutely love it!
It's perfectly adequate for the road. Although it's missing a 6th gear I never felt like I actually needed it and the gearbox is nice and smooth to operate.
Pulling away from traffic and low speed maneuvers are very easy to do. Actually everything about the Street Scrambler was easy to live with. Even the Mickey Mouse mirrors were lovely and worked great with this style of bike.
It's so easy going and fun to whip around in town and on the lovely country roads. I honestly didn't think I'd enjoy riding this off-road focused Scrambler this much on the road!
The sound coming from the raised exhaust is so addictively good. It makes you want to rev it high or give it a brap braaap any time you have the chance.
It's not every day I say something like this, but here you have it: I wouldn't change a single thing about this amazing and mint Street Scrambler offered by Bolton Motorcycles!
So if you're in the market for an easy going Scrambler, go give them a visit because at just £7,999 this bike will go fast!
