Another stunning used bike for Bolton Motorcycles
HARLEY-DAVIDSON ELECTRA GLIDE ULTRA LIMITED LOWThis motorcycle was my father's dream bike before it became mine. To this day it still is for many others.
I never thought I would get to ride an Electra Glide Ultra Limited, especially in the UK!
But thanks to Bolton Motorcycles and their amazing broad stock I was able to ride an icon from the Harley-Davidson Touring line-up.
It goes without saying this bike is a shiny beast. Although it comes at a cost, a heavy cost. In fact weighing over 400kg, this was the heaviest bike I've ever ridden.
Does it feel heavy? Certainly at low speeds it does, but as soon as you get going it is the most stable bike you can find out there.
No wonder why the Americans love touring on these cross country!
As soon as you turn the ignition on, the radio comes on, letting you know you can begin your journey now. Just pick a destination on the integrated sat nav and go.
With a cruiser style seating position, pulled back handlebars, foot boards and one of the most comfortable seats you'll find on any bike, it's designed for anybody under 6 foot. But if you don't fall under that category you might find it a little cramped, best pick a non Low version of the Electra Glide Ultra.
The suspension has also been lowered 1 inch front and rear, dropping your center of gravity, for more confident handling.
The 103ci engine provides plenty of usable torque, perfect for touring two-up and confident passing.
I certainly wouldn't even attempt filtering, but I'm sure that's not what you're into, if you're looking for this kind of bike.
Linked brakes with ABS, daytime running lights and electronic cruise control come as standard features.
A full set of luggage is included along with a passenger "armchair" to make sure everybody on board is nice and comfy.
