Born to travel. The TRK 702 is a comfortable and tireless globetrotter, the new Benelli model designed to travel endless roads to discover unforgettable places, but also to enjoy the city in comfort, a source of countless emotions. The TRK 702 is in fact an all-round tourer, a two-wheeler that offers maximum comfort for rider and passenger alike and an excellent riding feeling, without ever losing sight of the fun. A motorbike dedicated to adventure, developed by Benelli's R&D and Style Centre in Pesaro, which expands and completes the TRK range, positioning itself in the mid-range. An easy, intuitive motorbike, ideal for long journeys, powered by a brand new 698 cc twin-cylinder Benelli engine, developed precisely as a result of the need to create an intermediate product range between the 500cc and 800cc engines, exploiting the experience gained in the development and industrialisation of both engine types, optimising technical solutions already adopted.

Consequently, the engine delivers power of 70 hp (51,5 kW) at 8000 rpm and torque of 70 Nm at 6000 rpm, guaranteeing a fast and responsive engine. It features double overhead camshaft timing with 4 valves per cylinder, with chain drive and crankshaft with crank pins offset by 180°. Electronic fuel injection with 41 mm double throttle body. The transmission unit, on the other hand, features a clutch-side removable 6-speed gearbox, assisted by a wet slipper clutch with torque converter, which significantly reduces the force to be applied to the clutch lever while maintaining smooth and precise gear engagement. Featuring a traditional trellis frame with a steel plate, typical of models manufactured at the House of the Leoncino, derived specifically from the 500cc model, able to guarantee handling and stability in all conditions and ideal especially for long journeys.

The suspensions consist of an upside-down fork with 50 mm legs and 140 mm travel at the front, and a swinging arm with central monoshock featuring adjustable spring preload and rebound damping, with a travel of 45 mm (154mm at the wheel). Comfort and functionality are the hallmarks of the TRK 702, which features a large headlight fairing as standard, providing optimum protection for both rider and passenger and a backlit handlebar control block, to provide maximum visibility even at night.

As optional are heated handgrips and rider seat and the bike already offers the predisposition for installation. high-performance braking system is ensured by the double 320 mm diameter semi-floating disc on the front and four-piston caliper, and a 260 mm diameter disc on the back with a single-piston caliper. The 17” aluminum alloy rims mount Pirelli Angel GT 120/70 and 160/60 tyres. As it is designed for travel, the TRK 702 features a tank with a capacity of no less than 20 liters and offers a comfortable pair of passenger handles, which also serve as a stylistic design feature to complete the look of the bike. This two-wheeler also offers a full LED headlight unit and a high-resolution 5'' TFT colour display, which has a Bluetooth connection to link to your phone and display incoming calls and notification.

The handlebar controls allow also answering or ending a call. Furthermore, by downloading an application to your mobile phone and connecting via wifi, through a phone-mirroring solution it will be possible to transform the dashboard of your bike into a navigator.

Design of the new TRK 702, created by the Benelli Style Centre in Pesaro, relies on original distinctive lines, maintaining the family feeling typical of the TRK family but evolving to create a more aggressive and modern style, giving the bike an undisputed personality. As with its adventure-seeking “sister” bike, with which it shares proportions and volumes, the design of the bike stems from the need to highlight stylistic design features typical of the new TRK range.

Starting with the aggressive and extremely recognizable front headlight, to the muscular nature of the fuel tank, capable of lending strength and a dynamic character to this two-wheeler.
